Rhinos, elephants, lions, leopards and hippos roam the vast area of the reserve on what was once farmland but is being restored into its true wilderness state. The reserve is a birding paradise as it is home to 350 different species of birds.
The fully fenced game & wilderness reserve offers an excellent network of tracks, leading up to a variety of waterholes, picnic spots and viewing hides. Encountering other explorers is a rarity, with only limited tourism being permitted.
The reserve is only a 510 km drive from Johannesburg airport, taking an easy 6 hours to complete by car. An airstrip makes it possible to also fly to the reserve.
Situated perfectly for guests who would like to add a Botswana experience at the end of their South African trip and for guests who would like to start in the Tuli Block as part of their self-drive safari in Botswana.
